With over 30 years of experience in the education, finance, and pharmaceutical industries, Prof. Dr. Franco Gandolfi has held leadership positions across the world. He encourages students to be innovative, understand markets, research-oriented, collaborative, map industry trends and be comprehensive professionals.
Prof. Dr. Franco Gandolfi holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) by research from Southern Cross University, Australia. He also earned a Post-Doctorate Certificate in Executive Leadership from Cornell University, an Ivy League University in the USA. He obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Commerce from the Swiss Institute of Commerce and Economics, Switzerland. Additionally, he completed his Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology and Adult Education from the University of Sydney, Australia.

Subhash Kamath

CEO, BBH & Publicis Worldwide, India Chairman, ASCI

   

Subhash has been in the business of building brands for 35 years, twenty-two of which have been in senior leadership roles. He’s passionate about brand strategy and creativity and loves to involve himself deeply in his client’s businesses, believing that true creative thinking is designed to solve business problems.

In this duration, he worked in renowned creative agencies in India like Ogilvy, Trikaya Grey, Ambience Publicis and Bates 141. He was one of the founding Managing Partners at BBH India in 2009 and currently serves as the CEO for two agencies, BBH India & Publicis Worldwide, India (both part of the Publicis Groupe).

He has worked closely with various global and Indian clients like Unilever, Marico, ITC, Diageo, Ambuja Cement, Audi, Abbott and Red Bull, amongst many others.

Subhash currently also serves as the Chairman of The Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) and is working hard to bring about future-facing initiatives in self-regulation to safeguard the interests of consumers, by promoting responsible creativity in advertising. He has served on the board of governors of ASCI since 2010 and has also been an active member of The Ad Club Goa Fest committee in the past.

Besides brands, Subhash is also passionate about music, cooking and single malts! He’s a lead singer & rhythm guitarist in a classic rock & blues band called ‘Wanted Yesterday’ and is currently writing and producing his own songs as well.

Rahul Nainwal

Rahul Nainwal is an Entrepreneur, Design Thinker and learning facilitator. He co-founded iVolunteer, India Fellow Social Leadership programme, and Social enterprise incubator- UnLtd Delhi. He also started CashRelief.org-India’s first pilot on unconditional wealth transfer.​

Rahul completed his Engineering from NIT Rourkela and MBA from IRMA, Anand. He did his Executive Education-Harvard Business School and is founding participant at THNK-the Amsterdam School of Creative Leadership. Before joining Runway Incubator, Rahul was studying at University of Oxford as part of the Chevening Gurukul Fellowship.​

Rahul is a Director at GUS and is currently working as CEO of Runway Incubator at UPES and Pearl Academy where he works with start-ups and help them take off. Before joining GUS, Rahul has taught in institutions such as IRMA, ISPP, IIM Kashipur to name a few. Rahul is an active angel investor and, on a mission, to build start up ecosystem in educational institutions.​

Karina embarked on her Higher Education career as a lecturer and module leader of the Grenoble School of Business, securing a Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education from Goldsmiths, University of London. She later became a Programme Leader, responsible for launching the University of Law’s online portfolio.

Karina is the Managing Director of London School of Business and Finance, responsible for Strategy, Partnerships, Operations and P&L.

Sumanth Palepu

Sumanth is a Technology Innovation Specialist & Thought Leader in Ed-Tech domain. With over 15 years of experience, Sumanth is currently leading Edology as a Business, Sales and Marketing Head of Edology, the ed-tech vertical of Global University Systems (GUS). He’s accountable for the P&L of the entire Online learning Business of GUS.

An IIM Kozhikode graduate, he has a track record in designing, building and selling Education & e-Learning products and services globally. He was instrumental in building and scaling Edology from scratch to 150+ member Team in 18 months across locations like Gurgaon, Mumbai, Dehradun, Prague, London and Hyderabad. Besides influencing large number of educational institutions, organizations, young learners in adopting Technology driven learning to enhance the learning productivity and outcomes, he’s also won accolades. She has a Master’s degree in Fashion Management and a recipient of Certificate of appreciation for producing 100 percent results in MBA program under Mysore University. In classroom, Ananya teaches her students to navigate real-world challenges using theoretical, practical and futuristic soft skills in workplaces. Nitika has 10 years of cross-functional experience in areas including fashion design, buying and marketing has sparked interesting classroom conversations, projects and develop a deep interest history of fashion, mapping international industry trends and much more. She specializes in teaching Marketing, Branding, Fashion history and Art history.

Nitika’s diverse academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce degree, an MBA degree in Retail, Master’s degrees in Education and also Luxury Brand Management. She’s also a post-graduate in Fashion Design. Her areas of interest in research include Assessments in Creative Education, Luxury Branding. Nitika has collaborated with Polimoda, Italy, for International Experience Lab Module for PG and also mentored students for 'User Experience Design' course conducted by IIT Bombay on Great Learning online platform.

She specializes in Retail Merchandising & Buying, Retail Operations, Retail Strategy, Fundamentals of Marketing, Consumer Behaviour, Elements of Fashion, and International Marketing.

Currently pursuing a PhD in Management (Consumer Behavior), her academic qualifications include a BSc degree in Botany, a Master’s degree in Sales & Marketing, PG Diploma in International Business, PG Diploma in Fashion Retail Management & PG Certificate in Higher Education (PGCHE). In research, her interest areas include Consumer Behaviour, Retail, Sustainable Consumption. Her achievements include 'The Best Paper award' in the Marketing & Innovation track in the 9th IBS Conference on Marketing & Strategy held on the theme Marketing 5.0: Opportunities and Challenges (2022). Shilpa’s diverse academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Fashion Marketing, UG Degree in Fashion Retail Management from and Certification in Strategic Management. In research her areas of interest include Luxury Branding and Consumer Behaviour. She’s won Academic excellence award 2018-2019.

Varun Duggal

With 35 years of enriched academic & industry experience, Varun has inspired legions of students to deeply understand & decode the nuances of AI, Big data, Business Intelligence, Database Management, Marketing & Advertising among other things. His specializes in teaching Data Analytics and Research, Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, Statistics, E-Commerce, IoT and Internet, Big Data and Database Management Systems, Entrepreneurship and Project Management and Operations Research

Varun’s academic qualifications include a PhD Scholar in AI and Quantum Computing at Thesis stage, Master’s from NTU and a B-Tech in Computers Science and Engineering from IIT Varanasi. In research, his areas of interest include Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Consumer Behaviour, General Management, Quantum Computing, Quantum Algorithms and Quantum Mechanics.

He's published many research papers using complex statistical tools including Structural Equation Modelling in various Journals including ABDC Journals. He’s also been conferred the prestigious and envious Gold Medal for Excellence in Business Practice by the Foundation for Excellence in Business Practice, Geneva.

He encourages his students to be adaptive, agile thinkers and develop a keen interest in upskilling, mapping & understanding new technologies

Varun’s personal motto is: Intelligence and knowledge are not the real harbingers of successful and fulfilling life. It’s also about applying wisdom.

Shahnaz Hamid

Head of Academics - LSBF

   

Shahnaz holds a doctorate in Business Administration (DBA, HRM, and Strategic Management) from the SMC University in Switzerland, a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and a bachelor’s degree in Commerce. She also holds the status of a Fellow with the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). As the head of academics, she works to ensure the quality of the content and instruction across all programmes.

Shahnaz is a focused academician with substantial experience in Human Resource Management, Strategic Management, Leadership, and Entrepreneurship. She has held faculty positions at highly respected institutions across the globe. Teaching at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels has helped her significantly in working with motivated adults from diverse cultural backgrounds. She also has extensive industry experience as an HR practitioner and leader, which has provided her with practical professional experience.

Shahnaz’s work has been published in several scholarly journals and she has been extensively involved in research throughout her career. Furthermore, she is an editorial board member and reviewer for a number of prestigious academic journals and professional bodies.

Nataliia Stukalo

Senior Lecturer - LSBF

   

Nataliia has 20 years of teaching experience, with over 10 years of experience teaching online education. She has authored or co-authored over one hundred academic papers, is the managing editor of the SCOPUS-ranked Problems and Perspectives in Management journal and has participated in many international scientific and educational projects. She is also Vice Head of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance (Ukraine).

Nataliia’s research interests include international business, global finance, international management, models of economic development and sustainable development, and European integration. She holds DSc and PhD degrees in International Economics & Finance from the Kyiv National Economic University and is a member of several councils within the Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science.

Martin Lukavec

Senior Lecturer, Finance - LSBF

   

Martin’s areas of expertise (and interest!) are economics, statistics, and finance, with an emphasis on quantitative methods and macroeconomics. Martin teaches an array of courses in finance, statistics, and economics.

He holds a master’s degree in Economics and Management from the Czech Technical University, and a PhD in Urban Economics from the University of Economics, Prague. Martin’s research interests include urban inequality, real estate economics, and the economic implications of urban planning.

Prior to joining our faculty, Martin worked as an asset manager for Cushman & Wakefield.

Peter Jansen

Principal lecturer - LSBF

   

Peter Jansen plans, coordinates, and develops much of our online academic content, and is a seasoned lecturer with a wealth of international business experience.

Peter worked as a marketing and strategy consultant for 10 years, before going on to become the general manager of a media company in Central & Eastern Europe. He has also spent time offering consulting services to a wealth of top-tier national and multinational companies.

Peter currently serves as an independent director for one of the largest natural gas producers in Europe. An accomplished entrepreneur, he is also the founder of several companies in the advertising and communications industry, with a focus on strategy consultancy and online marketing.

Cormac Austin

Principal Lecturer - LSBF

   

Cormac Austin is a Distinguished Senior Lecturer, teaching courses in marketing and public relations.

With over 18 years of experience in the marketing communications industry, Cormac has worked in tourism, publishing, public relations, and education. Aside from teaching at LSBF, he also provides marketing consultancy services to small in the UK and Ireland.

Cormac holds a diploma in marketing from the Marketing Institute of Ireland, a master’s degree in marketing with distinction from the University of Ulster and is a law graduate of Queen’s University in Belfast.
